FOR THE INFINITE
Radiance of the sun
in an illimitable sky
reflects in every growing thing,
weighs its luxurious foliage
and bursting energy:
alive, vibrant, laughing
on summer breezes blowing
over this sylvan land.
Everything . . . and a tree
tops it all. Up on a hill
it lifts its head, its limbs
above and over
for the infinite!
